To meet the needs of all applications in dental and orthodontic practices, the Medical MAX3D can process a wide range of materials specifically designed for medical use.
Here you will find a detailed list of all materials and their applications in everyday dental laboratory practice.
Working Models
For the printing of processable models made of Filadental plaster containing hard plaster
Compared to traditional plaster models in particular, FDM printing is especially time- and material-efficient. This applies not only to the production of the model itself, but also to the lack of preparation and post-processing
High Resolution
With the Medical MAX3D, diagnostic models can be produced with unparalleled resolution to provide the most accurate representation of the individual bite situation possible.
Billable
Due to its high plaster content, all Filadental plaster models are billable according to the BEL II fee schedule. This applies to both working models and diagnostic models.
Vacuum Forming
Aligner Spezial
The Aligner Spezial was developed specifically for the requirements of aligner production and the corresponding thermoforming technique.
The models leave the printing chamber disinfected due to the high printing temperature and no longer require time-consuming post-processing before use.
Time savings
The digital workflow alone completely eliminates several time-consuming steps, such as manually taking impressions in the patient's mouth. It also eliminates the need for a second impression.
Stability
Thanks to its high stability, the material is also suitable for thicker films up to 3 mm.
Temporary Prostheses
Eldy Plus®
FDM printing of temporary prostheses allows for safe patient care without the risks associated with light-curing resin solutions that raise severe toxicological concerns.
The material has been tested for use in the mouth and is toxicologically safe.
Processing
Despite its high strength, the material is very easy to work with. Whether for partial dentures, long-term temporaries, or splints.
Resolution
Combined with the unmatched resolution achievable with the Medical MAX3D, this allows you to produce highly precise temporary prostheses that actually save you time thanks to their ease of processing and streamlined digital workflow.
